GoReport® is an innovative mobile and web application that allows field professionals such as surveyors to capture data on site using an iPad and to automatically generate a report.

The application-cum-cloud service is ideal for professionals in a number of sectors including construction, property & built environment, insurance, health & safety compliance, environmental and engineering.

The Goals

  • Develop a structured export Marketing & Brand strategy to ensure a successful launch of GoReport in the UK in Q1-2012
  • Articulate a tactical launch plan for Q1-2012

The Approach

  • Analysis: research sector of Built Environment / surveyors in UK/Ireland, North America, Gulf countries, South Africa, Australia/NZ and some Asian countries) + direct and indirect competitors (map out their positioning and value proposition), assess product roadmap, pricing, distribution  channels for their effectiveness with target audience (SMEs) and customer service
  • Planning: develop positioning and messages for GoReport, propose pricing model, distribution channels, communication objectives & campaign, select promo channels (on- and offline)
  • Action: edit, validate with client and finalise export marketing & branding plan

The Results

  • Full export marketing & brand plan developed and delivered in Q3-2011 for implementation in Q1-2012
  • Seed funding secured on the back of our plan and in-time to roll out beta launch in Q1-2012
  • First customers signed up in Q3-2012 and virgin revenue in Q4-2012
